Hank Goode is no stranger to hardship. He thought his Depression-era upbringing and WWII deployment would have been the worst of it, but that’s before his wife, Betty, is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Stuck in limbo between married man and surviving spouse, Hank is faced with societal, familial, and internal conflicts after a veterinary appointment leads to a friendship with Helen, the strong-willed owner of the clinic.

Goode Luck received a four-star review from the Historical Fiction Company and was a semifinalist in the 2024 ScreenCraft Cinematic Book Competition.
